CST MONDAY...

* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
28 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 15 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning, from midnight tonight to 9 AM CST
Monday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight tonight to 11
AM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
