San Leon Fire responds to a reported tornado touchdown, 27th Street @ Bayshore Dr. On arrival, San Leon Fire rescue crews discovered a variety of damage in the area. Overturned RV trailers and boats, fencing down, etc… There was also extensive damage to the electrical grid, with multiple poles and lines down in the area. San Leon Fire assisted the Galveston County Sheriff's Department in assessing the damage in the area and checking for injuries.
